Jimmy Fallon kicked off the holiday celebrations a little early Monday when he lit up the Tonight Show's marquee outside of 30 Rockefeller Plaza!

"This is a big moment for me, and I'd like to share this with you," the late-night host said. "Now, as you guys know, bringing the Tonight Show back to New York meant a lot to me. We're so lucky to record our show every day in this great building right here in the heart of New York City. So now, to make it official, everyone from NBC, Comcast...gave me a gift beyond gifts...for the first time, I present to you the Tonight Show marquee!"

And, just like,that...Ta da! The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon went up in lights.

That wasn't all, though! Fallon continued with his pre-Thanksgiving fun, challenging Last Man Standing star Tim Allen to a "Turkey Scooter Race" around the studio. While both wearing helmets—"because safety is sexy," Fallon quipped—the fellas trekked "past the arguing family having dinner...past the crazy aunt who loves pinching cheeks, past two hungry pilgrims...past an uncle trying to watch football and then back into the studio."

It started off as a friendly competition, but did feathers fly as the two turkeys raced—neck-in-neck—to the finish line?! Watch the clip above to find out!
