When Rihanna performs at her first annual Diamond Ball next month in L.A., she's going to have one heck of an introduction.

None other than Brad Pitt will introduce the "Stay" singer at the gala, which benefits Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) and takes place on Dec. 11.

It was also announced today that Jimmy Kimmel will host the soiree.

"It is such an honor to have Jimmy Kimmel host this event. There is no one more hilarious to make the first annual Diamond Ball an incredible night. I'm blessed by his support," Rihanna said in a statement. ''Brad Pitt is not only a phenomenal talent, but I admire him and am inspired by his philanthropic work."

CLF, named in honor of Rihanna's grandparents Clara and Lionel Brathwaite, works to improve the lives of underserved communities worldwide in the areas of health, education, the arts and culture.

Rihanna played a pivotal role in the founding of The Clara Brathwaite Center for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in her native Barbados after witnessing her grandmother's battle with cancer.

The Diamond Ball's proceeds will help finance the Center's $2.4 million improvement initiative.

The event for about 600 guests will take place at the private 157-acre The Vineyard in Beverly Hills.
