The actor, 31, and the actress, 38, are parents to daughter India, 2, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, 8 months. On Monday, Pataky announced that they've added a "new family member"—a "cute" puppy!
The Fast & Furious 6 star hasn't revealed the dog's name, although she did share a picture on Instagram.
The family's new addition arrives just after Hemsworth was named People's "Sexiest Man Alive."
While Pataky certainly agrees with the publication's assessment, she'll likely give Hemsworth grief for it, too. The couple met through friends in 2010 and wed that December. "You just want to hang out with that person," the In the Heart of the Sea star says in the magazine's Dec. 1 issue. What does he love most about Pataky? "Obviously she's beautiful," he points out. "She makes me laugh, and we have fun."
Of course, he also gets on his wife's nerves. "I have trouble concentrating. I'll be into the conversation, and then all of a sudden there will be something over here that I'm thinking about. She's like, 'Chris, are you even listening?' and I'm like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just didn't hear that last bit because you're Spanish. Your English isn't real good,'" Hemsworth says. "Which drives her crazy because her English is perfect."
All jokes aside, the actors have fallen more in love with each other since becoming parents. "Being a dad, you grow up really quick," the Avengers: Age of Ultron star admits. "You become incredibly more responsible, and the kid inside you comes back. I just love rolling around the floor with India and playing games with her." As one might expect, the actor's firstborn has daddy wrapped around her finger. "We'll say, 'OK, that's it. No more ice cream.' And she's like, 'Gelato? Ice cream?' and she pretends to lick an ice cream, and I'm like, 'Oh, she's just too cute.' Then she goes crazy because of the sugar, so it backfires."
The proud papa, whose three children will be bilingual, says they have "good kids."
As Hemsworth tells People, "We're lucky."
