The E! star was profiled in The New York Times where members of her team, and execs at Estée Lauder, share why the brunette beauty's power goes well beyond her good looks.
But during the interview, the 19-year-old admits that she's still trying to figure out how to balance her reality show roots with her goal of being taken seriously as a high fashion model.
"It's definitely two different worlds," she shared. "I feel like Hannah Montana. But it's fun."
(Hmmm…we wonder what Miley Cyrus has to say about that!)
Jane Hertzmark Hudis, the global brand president of Estée Lauder, explained why she was so excited to have Jenner on board as the new face of the cosmetic giant.
"I think what's so exciting about her is that she has this social media influence along with a fashion credibility in a distinct way that speaks to millennials."
She added, "There is really no one else like her out there."
Jenner announced the exciting new endeavor last week along with a video campaign of her trying on all sorts of makeup.
"I feel like I'm more honored to be a part of something with such amazing names involved," she is shown saying in the promotional video. "It's something that I didn't really expect to happen so quickly. It's so crazy."
Kim Kardashian's little sister added, "I just want to be the best me I can be. So having the power that social media does, I think just seeing how many people care about you and seeing how many people, like, want to watch what you're doing, it just makes you really want to do the best you can do."
