Cindy Crawford's daughter, Kaia Gerber, could practically be her twin!
But the 48-year-old model mama is envious of one thing her 13-year-old mini-me has: Cindy's voluminous '90s hair!
On Friday, the proud mom Instagrammed a split-screen shot with one of her own vintage modeling pics on the left and her doppelgänger daughter's brand-new Teen Vogue photo on the right. The pic shows both gals' gorgeous, thick, slightly wavy caramel locks effortlessly framing their faces and cascading down their shoulders. Looking at the side-by-side, Cindy noted jokingly, "@kaiajordan I want my old hair back!"
Funnily enough, Kaia told Teen Vogue's December-January issue she doesn't really "see the resemblance" between herself and her mom, adding, "but everyone says it's there, so I trust them."
And while she's clearly got a knack for being in front of the camera (she participated in a major Young Versace campaign when she was just 10 years old), she's not ready to cross over to the catwalk full-time just yet.
"I've seen my mom do it, and it seems exhausting," she said. "It's not easy—you're in heels all the time and constantly having to dress up. If that's your job, jeans and a T-shirt are all you really dream of."
Cindy feels the same way. "She doesn't want me to start a career too young," Kaia said. "She started modeling when she was 16, but that world is very different now."
Fortunately for Kaia, if and when she's ready to follow in mom's footsteps, she's got the perfect career model to get advise from, her mom!
