The Fault in Our Stars co-stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort reunited on Thursday to recreate the Amsterdam park bench scene from their heartfelt film for a dedication ceremony.

The bench, which includes a small plaque in honor of the movie's loyal fans, will now have a permanent home under a tree at the 20th Century Fox studio lot in Los Angeles.

If you remember, the bench was featured during the pivotal moment when Augustus tells Hazel that his cancer is back on the last day of their romantic European trip. You may recall that the emotional scene was also used on the posters to promote the critically acclaimed flick.

The Men, Women & Children actor posted an adorable photo on Instagram from the event as Shailene sat on his lap to imitate the now-famous image. "Re creating the moment :) #tfios," he captioned the pic.

The 23-year-old Divergent actress struggled to contain her emotions at the event, and even shed a few tears. "I just started tearing up," she confessed to USA Today. "This is the perfect tribute."

Author John Green was also on hand for the ribbon cutting celebration and shared how special the location is to him.

"I remember being in Amsterdam finishing the book. I sat a lot on those benches near the canals, thinking about the story," the YA writer said. "I remember seeing Shailene and Ansel sitting on that bench in the filming, and thinking how it had all come full circle. But I never thought I'd see that bench near murals of The Simpsons and Star Wars."

Now, there is only problem: How will fans and admirers get the chance to appreciate the symbolic bench? "I guess they are going to have to sneak onto the Fox lot," Green suggested.
