Best & Worst Dressed Stars at the 2014 Latin Grammys: Alessandra Ambrosio, Flavor Flav & More!

Talk about a red hot (well, and green) red carpet: The 2014 Latin Grammy Awards showed us that the biggest in Latin music know how to show out in vibrant colors, plunging gowns and plenty of sequins. Read on for our best dressed picks:

In the beaded and beautiful arena? Eiza González, who wore a gold, beaded trumpet-style confection that hugged her figure in all the right places.

And for the showstoppers: Marc Anthony's new wife Shannon de Lima wowed in a plunging cobalt blue number with intricate beading along the front of the dress.

Some of our favorite looks of the night, though, were more simple, like Costa Rican singer Debi Nova's fringed, floor-sweeping black gown. Model Mauza Antonio also stunned, wearing a pale blue dress with a peek-a-boo keyhole and sexy thigh-high slit.

Finally, we can't take our eyes off Alessandra Ambrosio, who gave us a touch of déjà vu in a black-and-white frock that was nearly identical to the Balmain number that Kim Kardashian sported at the 2014 MTV VMAs.

As for the worst of the night, we have to start with Flavor Flav, who proved that having a signature look doesn't make it the right one to have. The rapper sported his iconic clock, a galactic cap, studded bowtie and skull-adorned jacket. Too much flavor in one get-up, if you will.

We're all for emulating Belle from Beauty and the Beast (we see you, Jena Malone), but Latin Grammys co-host Jacqueline Bracamontes' yellow gown was a touch too shiny and somewhat out of place on a carpet filled with rich fall hues.

The plunging neckline is a huge red carpet trend right now, but one that should be worn with caution. Case in point: Violeta Martin, whose cut-to-there gown was overwhelmed by a bright color and surplus of sequins.

Actress Laura Aleman made an unfortunate mesh of sheer panel illusion and black bandeau dress styles—her black-lace number left little to the imagination.

And imagination brings us to heads, or headwear, rather: We still can't wrap our minds around Jenni Lopez's (you read that right—not Jennifer Lopez, people) odd floral topper.
