Guess a wizard never loses his tricks!

Tom Felton recently stepped out to catch Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint's Broadway show It's Only a Play in New York City.

But as soon as the show ended, Felton decided to have a little fun at his friend's expense as he waited outside the stage door.

Dressed in disguise with a winter beanie, glasses and long black hair, the British actor had his camera ready as he tried to trick his friend into thinking he was just an unknown fan.

"The pair have a long history of playing pranks on each other on the set and off," a friend told The Mirror of the creative stunt. "It was hilarious."

So did the wickedly smart plan work out?

According to the friend, Felton revealed himself to Grint and the results were nothing short of outstanding.

This isn't the first time the two have had a little fun at each other's expense. During the Los Angeles premiere of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Grint showed up on his friend's red carpet with a fashion statement. "I love Tom Felton," the shirt read with a giant heart.

But before a winner is declared, Felton later turned the tables by wearing an "I love Ron Weasley" shirt to a separate event.

They may have been enemies in the world of Harry Potter. But it's safe to say in real life, these guys are just good ol' fashion pranksters.
