Now that was a semi-final!

The top five couples took to the stage tonight for "Plugged & Unplugged," dancing two different dance styles to two different versions of the same song, and it was one incredible night of dance.

There were worries that Alfonso Ribeiro would not be able to dance tonight due to a serious back injury, but he and partner Witney Carson couldn't stay away. The injury showed during their first dance, but their contemporary dance, accompanied by Christina Grimmie's unplugged version of "Love Runs Out," was nearly flawless, earning a 39 out of 40.

Plus, Alfonso's second video package gave us a little treat: Karyn Parsons, Tatyana Ali, and Joseph Marcell all appeared to encourage their former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air costar and share a couple of stories about Alfonso from the set of the 1990 series.

A couple of dances tonight were given perfect scores. Both Janel Parrish & Val Chmerkovskiy and Bethany Mota and Derek Hough earned all 10s for a pair of flawless routines.

Unfortunately, we also had to say goodbye to one of the couples tonight. Fortunately, it was Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd, who are extremely loveable but were definitely the weakest couple still left in the competition.  Their jazz number earned them a 28, but they really stepped it up, so to speak, with their rumba, to which the judges gave a 34, giving them a total of 62 for the night.

While it was definitely his time to go, we will miss Tommy's charm.

"I just showed old stoners can perform when they need to," he said just before the end of tonight's broadcast.

Next week, after one last performance episode on Monday, season 19 of Dancing with the Stars will come to an end with a live season finale, and to be completely honest, any of the remaining finalists could take home the mirrorball trophy.

Who do you think will win next week? Do you agree that the right couple went home tonight? Let us know in the comments!
