The Hills Are Alive with Benji and Joel

Joel and Benji Madden are heading for The Hills.

Hills starlet Audrina Patridge hit the opening of the brothers’ new DCMA Collective clothing store in Los Angeles last night and revealed that the two recently shot an appearance on the MTV reality show.

Patridge, however, was tightlipped on details. “I can’t talk about that,” she said.

The rocker brothers sure are busy. They’re also producing and singing on a new track for hip-hop star Ja Rule’s upcoming album.

They were in the studio just hours before the store opening. “It’s a great fusion,” Ja Rule said. “We all kind of roll in the same vein anyway, you know? Rebels!”

Meanwhile, Joel cooed that his and Nicole Richie’s baby daughter, Harlow, is already a talker—sorta.

“She tries to talk to us,” the first-time daddy said. “When we talk to her she mumbles back. It’s really cute. Just goo-goos and ga-gas.”

People magazine also reports that Benji’s girlfriend, Paris Hilton, will join the Maddens in South Africa for the launch of their band Good Charlotte’s world tour. Richie and the baby will remain home in L.A.

Hilton, Richie and the Maddens were also spotted last night at the Scandinavian Style Mansion, a party celebrating Scandinavian fashion at a private estate. Lindsay Lohan, as I was the first to report, was the night’s celebrity host. She replaced Britney Spears, who was axed after her most recent hospitalization.
