It wasn't necessarily Keira Knightley posing topless that got everyone talking—it was her talking about posing topless!
The 29-year-old actress has no issue baring her breasts in photo shoots, she told The Times of London, "so long as you don't make them any bigger or retouch." On Friday at the Hollywood Film Awards, the Imitation Game star spoke with E! News more about her no-augmentation approach to full-frontal.
"I didn't realize it was going to be such a big deal," she said of her comments. "I have done topless shoots before. I said to them, when they said, 'Would you mind doing this, and I just sort of said as long as you don't make them any bigger or retouch them, and they said, 'Of course,' so that was that."
"I do think in general women's bodies have sort of become this kind amazing battleground where there is nothing you can do right," she continued. "You're either too thin, or you're too fat. You're too tall, or you're too short.. Every bit of you can be weird."
"Your knee can be weird," she said. "Your arm can be weird! You know, it's just kind of ridiculous."
