Jon Stewart may be getting ideas for Oscar jokes from his friends, but actually using them when he hosts on the big night could prove tricky.

“All my jokes apparently are too dirty for the Oscars,” former Daily Show correspondent Rob Corddry said at last night's Semi-Pro premiere. “They can’t use any of them. They’re all abortion jokes.”

At the very least, Stewart should be able to lean on Corddry for some confidence building, right? Okay, maybe not.

“He calls me up, and he’s like, 'Hey, I’m funny, right?' ” Corddry cracked. “He kind of begs for me to go over past Daily Show moments where he was funny. And I’m like, ‘Remember when you had John McCain on? You were great that night. I love your leather jacket. It looks very good on you.’ ”
