This California biker is in a New York state of mind.

Sons of Anarchy's Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) is trading in his leather cut and motorcycle for somewhere just as dangerous as Charming...the Hamptons!

That's right, E! News has confirmed that Flanagan is set for a major role on ABC's soapy drama Revenge after Sons of Anarchy's final season bows in a few weeks.

And after playing a moral and loyal righthand man to Jax (Charlie Hunnam) on the FX drama for seven seasons, Flanagan is flexing his acting muscles to play someone so incredibly different from the scarred Irishman we've come to know and love.

Flanagan will recur as one of this season's biggest villains yet. He will play the powerful and dangerous Malcolm Black, a "high-functioning psychopath" who knows how to hold a grudge. In fact, he never forgets who has crossed him. Sounds quite a lot like Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp), huh? Minus the whole "psychopath" thing, of course.

Described as self-made, cold and calculating, Malcolm is relentless when it comes to protecting both his family and his fortune, and he'll be introduced in episode 11, the show's midseason premiere.

After Sons of Anarchy's series finale airs on Tuesday, Dec. 9, Flanagan will next be seen on TV when his first episode of Revenge debuts in early 2015.

TVLine first reported this casting.
