Pushing Daisies star Lee Pace has been cast on The Mindy Project as an upcoming guest star.
Pace will play Alex, a handsome San Francisco tech millionaire who took Mindy's virginity back when he was a dorky college student.
Now, we aren't mathematicians here, but from where we're sitting, this is awesome in 3 indisputable ways.
1) Lee Pace is charming as hell, and we get to see him in one of our favorite shows.
2) Dorky Mindy sounds amazing, and we can only hold out hope that there will be flashbacks, and hopefully mouthguards and nose-hair trimmers.
3) Danny and Mindy are going strong, and Pace is only slated for one episode at this time, so no need to worry about him being a salty third wheel who comes in and breaks up one of TV's best couples.
If we break out our scientific calculators, add that all up and carry the one, we arrive at:
SO MUCH YES.
