Nearly 97.5 million people watched last night's Super Bowl!

But I've got the scoop on what those gazillions of eyeballs didn't get to see, since there was a lot happening off the field. Earlier today, I gave you some dish on Kristin Cavallari. But read on for the lowdown about McLovin, Katherine Heigl and some swag-grabbin’ celebs.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who played the lovable nerd McLovin in Superbad, was spotted hanging with Michael Clarke Duncan at Cincinnati Bengals' quarterback Carson Palmer’s table at the Maxim party on Friday. But he had no plans to hit the actual game on Sunday. “I couldn’t get tickets,” he said.

Still, it's not so bad to be McLoved. I’m told that Pepsi had flown the young actor to Scottsdale for the weekend of festivities, just because “all the players love him.” Awww.

Around 2 a.m., things got out of hand as a burly bodyguard tried to throw an apparently uninvited paparazzo into the pool after catching the photog trying to take pics of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo. The shutterbug didn't end up taking the plunge, but he did get tossed out.

Around the same time, E! reality star Snoop Dogg and Ludacris stopped by Coors Light and Toast Production’s Vice Party for LL Cool J’s performance.

The next night, Victoria’s Secret models Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova and Selita Ebanks did their best to give Josh Kelley a big introduction when he performed at the What Is Sexy? party, but things got a bit awkward when Ebanks announced to the crowd, “And now here's Katherine Heigl!”

And...the Grey’s Anatomy star never took to the stage, opting to hang back in the VIP area. After an awkward silence and some whispering between the models, Ebanks shouted, “Well, we don’t have Katherine, but we have her amazing husband Josh Kelley.” She left the stage mumbling, “Whoops, sorry!”

After Victoria’s Secret, many guests, including Kurkova, Brody Jenner, Cavallari and Matt Leinart, made their way to the Tao-944 House of Hennessy party. But by 3 a.m., the cops had arrived to shut it down.

Nick Cannon, who was deejaying the bash, turned off the music as dozens of people began to exit. Thirty minutes later, however, he started spinning again, and the party was back full tilt.

Those Hills gals have stamina. Not only did Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge make the party rounds on Friday, but on Saturday, they were spotted at the Playboy soiree and later on they made it to Hennessey, arriving at—get this!—4:30 am!

Now, for some requisite celebrity swaggin’ at the official Super Bowl XLII celebrity gift lounge.

Dave Annabelle arranged for ProFlowers.com to deliver red roses on Valentine’s Day to his television mom, Sally Field. Don’t worry, he’s sending the same to his real-life mom, too.

Alicia Keys picked up Ray-Ban and D&G sunglasses and a pair of limited edition Reebok sneakers.

And even big media executives like their freebies. NBC honcho Ben Silverman took home a pair of brown leather UGG boots.
