As Diane von Furstenberg continues with the search for her Global Brand Ambassador on House of DVF, we're starting to learn more about the candidates who are vying for this esteemed position.
Some of the girls are more self-assured than others, while others have trouble dealing with conflict. Either way, it's pretty obvious that the role Diane is looking to fill is very specific, and she's going to need the right kind of lady who possesses all of the required skills and traits in order to successfully become the DVF Global Brand Ambassador.
These are 9 qualities that we think make up the ideal DVF Brand Ambassador...
9. Have a sense of style.
If you're going to be representing one of the most iconic brands in the world, you must have a good sense of fashion and style.
From the United Nations to New York Fashion Week, the ideal Brand Ambassador always knows what to wear, how to wear it, and she does it all without looking like she put too much time or thought into her look.
It is the DVF way, after all...
8. Be confident.
There will be moments where you will rub shoulders with major designers and celebrities, but no matter what, always be confident.
As the DVF Brand Ambassador, it's your job to make heads turn whenever you enter a room. You want people to take you seriously and you want them to listen when you speak.
You'll not only attract attention from many but you'll gain the respect of all.
7. Hard-working.
The fashion industry isn't all about high-profile events and flashy celebs. There's also a lot of hard work that goes into it.
There will be plenty of late nights, long meetings, and red-eye flights as you work to get everything done. And you will do it all happily and with a smile on your face.
The harder you work, the greater the reward will be in the end. You don't honestly think that Diane sat around and waited for success to come to her, do you?
6. Diplomatic.
There will be times where you will be dealing with people from different cultures and backgrounds, so you will need to be sensitive and aware of those around you.
Always be polite and courteous to others, and know how to keep your cool if you find yourself in a disagreement with someone else.
Remember, you're representing the brand at all times, so if you get mad and blow up at someone, you're automatically making DVF look bad. No bueno!
5. Intelligent.
Diane is a smart woman, DVF is a smart brand, and therefore the ideal Brand Ambassador needs to be a smart woman.
No, you don't have to have a degree from Harvard, but a well-read and educated woman with common sense is needed in order to represent the brand and make appropriate decisions.
4. Natural leader.
As a Brand Ambassador, part of your job is leading others and offering guidance.
Whether you're supervising a group of interns or put in charge of a team project, you should know how to effectively lead a group and solve problems/complete tasks with others.

3. Caring.
In addition to being a successful fashion designer, Diane is also a humanitarian and a philanthropist who cares about empowering women, among other efforts.
It's important that you have a kind heart and be willing to help others, whether it's a food drive that the entire company is participating in or donating your time and resources to make the world (and DVF) a better place.

No matter how successful you become, it is always important that you remain humble—even when receiving high praise from others.

You may be asked to lead a meeting, accept an award at a show, or you may be interviewed by the press at any given moment. Whatever the situation might be, you want to make sure that the words coming out of your mouth appropriately reflect DVF at all times.
Don't forget that once something is on tape, it's impossible to take it back. And you don't want to become an awkward viral video on YouTube...
