The latest trend to take over the red carpet has celebs covering up—their necks, that is.
We've spotted chunky chokers—in cool metals or glittering jewels—at events over the last week. Take last night's Battersea Power Station Global Launch Party in West Hollywood, where both Kate Beckinsale and Zoë Kravitz sported chic chokers on the red carpet. Kate's Paula Mendoza ‘Hera' gold-plated choker was a smart counterbalance for her low-cut Zimmermann dress.
Zoë went for a more dramatic look—wearing a bejeweled choker with a rich violet stone with her white Dior crop top and high-slit skirt combo.
Also rocking the look? Reality star Kim Kardashian. Kim attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala in a clingy cobalt Cushnie et Ochs dress and luxe diamond choker.
Meanwhile, supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley went for a sexy version of the trend at the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London. The leggy beauty stunned in a cut-out black Balmain trouser ensemble and gold-trimmed choker.
One star who gets honorable mention on our neck-covering radar is Rihanna, who donned a white fabric band around her neck at last week's amfAR LA Inspiration Gala. (Was that the material missing from her, er, revealing bodice?) Nicole Richie has also taken to the red carpet with the look.
What do you think of the choker trend?
