Kylie Jenner is making headlines this morning over a fender bender which occurred over a year ago.

The 17-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, as well as her mother Kris Jenner, are being sued by a Los Angeles woman who claims she was severely hurt in a traffic collision that the E! star allegedly caused when she rear ended another car back in August 2013.

According to the docs obtained by E! News, Alida Griselie Palma Rivera is suing Kylie and Kris Jenner as well as Karina Alvarez for negligence, unsafe speed and other causes of action.

Rivera claims she sustained injuries after an accident which took place in Calabasas, Calif., on Aug. 28, 2013 when her car was rear ended by a Mercedes Benz G Class SUV that she says was driven by Kylie and owned by Kris.

The accident, which occurred just two weeks after Kylie passed her driving test, happened on a residential street; there were three cars total involved in the fender bender.

In the docs, Rivera states that Kylie was driving at an "unsafe speed" that made it difficult for her to negotiate a safe stop when she reached the intersection. She is also suing the Kardashian matriarch because she says, as the registered owner, Kris permitted and allowed Kylie to drive the car and she should have known Kylie was incompetent.

Rivera says she suffered injuries to her body both internally and externally. She is currently seeking damages from the Jenners.

Last year, the Lost Hills Sherriff's department confirmed to E! News that there was an accident call in Calabasas on Aug. 28. Officials said there were no injuries, nothing illegal and nothing unusual. Information was exchanged between parties involved, and one of the parties had left before the sheriff's department arrived.
