Tonight was a big night on Dancing With the Stars. Not only was it a super fun theme night, but the highest scoring couple automatically made it through to next week and did not have to participate in the dance-off at the end of the episode.

That couple was Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy, who chose Romeo and Juliet as their dynamic duo and received a perfect score for their contemporary routine to "Everybody's Free." It was impossibly steamy, and did nothing to convince us that they're not completely and totally in love with each other.

On the other end of things, we finally said goodbye to Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater, who have been trailing on the leaderboard for weeks, though they had been improving recently. For tonight's Foxtrot, they dressed as Tarzan and Jane – if Tarzan wore long pants and long sleeves – and danced to "You'll Be in My Heart." Julianne Hough said Michael looked really confident for the first time, and Len said it was the best he had seen him dance, but it wasn't enough to keep the couple in the competition. They only received a score of 25 and lost the dance-off to Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd.
