Inside the event, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus honored the American designer with touching speeches while Justin Timberlake and Chris Martin celebrated the Award of Inspiration winner with—what else—amazing performances.
And of course, on the red carpet those same celebs also showed their support for the 53-year-old in the best possible way: by wearing his creations.
Rihanna and Miley competed for the most jaw-dropping ensemble—both opting for risqué outfits that barely covered their nipples. The Diamonds singer flaunted a gown from the designer's spring 2015 collection, which just hit the runway last month. Truth be told, when we first saw the dress during London Fashion Week there was a very short list of celebrities who we thought would dare wear the dress on the red carpet. One, in fact: Rihanna.
Meanwhile Miley also snagged a gown from the just-debuted spring 2015 line. Her dress featured a sheer top with strapped bodice. We believe the word you're looking for right about now is: Yowza!
Now, being that this is Tom Ford we're talking about, naturally two of the top looks from last night's were suits: One very dapper tux worn by the designer himself and one cutout style pantsuit rocked by Gwyneth Paltrow.
Finally, there was one look that deserves some real praise here, even if it isn't Tom Ford. Camilla Belle completely wowed us in a power pink Carolina Herrera gown, which was every synonym of gorgeous. Seriously, that gown had Golden Globe night potential.
