Watch: Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Trying for a Baby?

Nicole Kidman admits that she should know by now how to make it through an interview without making unintentionally juicy headlines, but...

Sometimes she just feels like being funny!

Sitting down with E! News during the junket for her latest film, Before I Go to Sleep, Jesse Giddings asked the Oscar winner about her recent remarks on an Australian radio show about her hopes of getting pregnant again. True story?

"God, I've got such a big mouth," Kidman smiled at the recollection. "I did a radio show where I was like, ‘Yes, I would love to have another baby, every month I hope I'm pregnant!' and then before you know it, it's like..."

"I've just got to learn," she concluded, shaking her head. "One, you can't be irreverent. Two, you've got to be very careful with humor. Three, you know. I never learn. I've been doing this so long..."

But for the record, are she and husband Keith Urban planning on adding to their family? She is mom to son Connor and daughter Isabella with ex Tom Cruise, while she and Keith have daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, the younger born via surrogate, together.

"I mean, I would be blessed to have another child as...you know, we love our family," Kidman said. "The chances of it are very slim, but hey, I'd be blessed."

And speaking of her other half, Giddings asked how her hubby felt about her love scene with onscreen hubby Colin Firth in Before I Go to Sleep, in which she plays a woman who wakes up every morning with no memory of the past 20 years after what she initially thinks was a car accident.

"Yikes, I don't remember that," Kidman played coy. Watch the clip, meanwhile, to hear all about her approach to shooting sex scenes and how Keith reacts when his wife's job takes her into racy territory.

But while there is that "quick, quick scene" between her and Firth, Kidman joked that her nude scene—which comes within the film's first few minutes—may not even be her.

"That's a younger me," the 47-year-old beauty joked. Asked if she tacked on any extra squats or otherwise prepared for getting naked on camera, she quipped, "No, I have to say. Probably should've, right?"

Before I Go to Sleep, also starring Mark Strong and Anne-Marie Duff, is in theaters Friday.
