As if the Walmart fat-shaming incident just wasn't enough for one news cycle, we've got another heart-warming tale calling someone fat, just for you!

In typical oh-my-god-my-mic-was-on fashion, traffic presenter Ginger Chan of KTLA 5 accidentally called another coworker fat.

Her colleague Sam Rubin was joking around and recalled a time when his wife asked him, "When did you become the fat guy on that show?"

We'll skip over the part where loving partners probably shouldn't be calling each other fat. Fast-forward to the part where Ginger (a hard-hitting, reliable news name if we've ever heard one) chimed in from a different desk, exclaiming that Rubin "has always been" the fat one.

Chan recognized her mistake and buried her face in her hands while wearing some clunky, weird headphones (seriously, what is up with those?). Luckily for everyone on set, Rubin and the rest of the news team laughed off the incident. Rubin, being the good-natured guy that he is says he doesn't mind that the joke was at his expense.

Rubin also posted a response online and in complete candor, explained why the word "fat" is a little bit problematic.

We're not sure how we would react if someone called us fat on television, but we can only hope we handle it with as much grace and humor as Mr. Sam Rubin did.
