Tori Spelling doesn't want to cut ties with Dean McDermott—she'd rather he get his vasa deferentia cut instead. In a sneak peek from Tuesday's episode of True Tori, they meet with their therapist to discuss the problems facing their marriage in the wake of McDermott's two-day affair with Emily Goodhand.

"What's been happening since I saw you guys last?" Dr. Ann Wexler asks. "How are things going?"

"We had talked about him having a vasectomy," the former Mystery Girls star informs her. "Oddly enough we had talked about it last year right before he cheated on me. Isn't that weird? And then right after that, he went out and cheated on me." Dr. Wexler then asks her, "So, it seems suspicious to you?"

"Yes," says Spelling, who has four kids with McDermott. "And now I feel the roles have completely reversed. I was super hesitant and he was like, 'Let's do it.' And now he's like, 'Mmm, OK.' And I'm like, 'Let's do it.' But because of what I went through, I know that I don't want any more babies with him."

The statement wasn't entirely shocking, however. During her fourth pregnancy, the actress, 41, had placenta previa and underwent emergency surgery after the delivery due to C-section complications.

Regardless, Spelling was reminded of the gravity of her words. "That's kind of a big statement you're making," Dr. Wexler told the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star. "It's really something to say that because of all the struggles you've had you're not willing to have another child with him. It's a really big deal."

"Is that kind of hard to hear, Dean?" she asked McDermott, who silently nodded.

"There's consequences to actions," Spelling said. "I felt the need to say it."

In October 2013, Spelling told People that they couldn't afford a vasectomy, which ranges from $350 to $1,000, according to Planned Parenthood. McDermott, 47, later expounded upon his wife's comments, telling Us Weekly, "Could we afford a vasectomy? Probably. Was it a tougher time for us financially? Yeah. For sure. That's just the truth of it—it's the nature of this business. Sometimes things are awesome, sometimes they're just not. But it's about how we tackle things as a couple, as a family. And we do a pretty good job of that. Right now we have so many cool things going on—we're in an uptick."

True Tori airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
