Why We're Laugh-Puking at Sons of Anarchy and Why We Love-Hate The Voice: Our Rants and Raves

Find out what we loved (and hated) about Tuesday TV

Things are really heating up on The Voice, you guys. The battles are over and next week, Taylor Swift is mentoring. Taylor Swift! Every week of every show should have Taylor Swift! But first, some decidedly un-Taylor Swift things happened on Sons of Anarchy, and we're in a severe state of cringe-laugh-puking. Plus, Agents of SHIELD gave us one of its best episodes ever! Join us for Rants and Raves!

RAVE: Sons of Anarchy: It majorly sucks that Bobby lost an eye thanks to Mr. Marks and his displeasure at Jax, but we had to laugh a little at a crime boss sending that eye back in a Tupperware container, accompanied by an iPad. How domestic and modern!

RANT: Sons of Anarchy: "Killing your mommy was an accident." Gemma will never cease to make our blood boil with her lies and treachery and terrible grandma-ing. That is not how you talk to a baby! Thomas may have no idea what's going on, but we feel like Abel is starting to, and we can't imagine he's going to deal with it well. That kid is going to need some serious love and therapy.

RAVE: The Voice: The battles are over and we're about to head into the knock-out rounds of what is probably our favorite season ever. This has very little to do with the contestants – we can barely remember them week to week, unless they look like Joaquin Phoenix – but it has everything to do with the coaches. Mostly, we're in love with Pharrell, and the way he falls in love with contestants. He genuinely looked heartbroken tonight when he didn't have any steals to save Beth Spangler. Luckily, Gwen Stefani was there to save the day (and Spangler's life on the show) but Pharrell still looked very sad.

RANT: The Voice: We want to have the chance to fall in love with all (or at least most) of the singers on this show, but it's so hard sometimes when they're occasionally reduced to montages. What's the point of spending five to ten minutes on one battle when you only spend 10 seconds on another? Is it any surprise that most people are watching this show for the judges?

RAVE: The Flash: So if we're correctly reading into Harrison's whole surveillance situation, Barry becoming the Flash was not an accident? And Harrison had been waiting for this day "for centuries?" What on earth are you up to, Harrison Wells?

RAVE: The Flash: "Ugh, my chest feels like that one time I had a cigarette." Stop making us fall even more in love with you than we already have, Barry!

ABC/Kelsey McNeal

RAVE: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.:  Was there anything not to rave about in that episode? Adrianne Palicki's Bobbi Morse was actually an undercover SHIELD agent, sent by Coulson to get Simmons out of Hydra. Fitz and Simmons reunited! Skye got one step closer to meeting her father, though we also learned that she probably shouldn't, since he's a super strong psychopath who's determined to have Coulson killed. Plus, possible alien Skye finally identified Coulson's crazy GH drawings as a map! Remember a year ago, when this show was bad? My how times have changed!

RANT: Pretty Little Liars: We wish this had been an actual episode, because the Halloween episodes are always so much fun, but we guess tonight's candlelit slumberparty chat thing was also fun. (Do we really have to wait until Christmas for more PLL? Why is this world so cruel?!)

ABC/John Fleenor, ABC/Nicole Wilder

RAVE: Selfie: Count on a social media-centered show to be super, accidentally timely (and accurate) with this joke: "Renee Zellweger, who looks damn good, but doesn't look a thing like Renee Zellweger."

RAVE: Supernatural: Dean and Cas are back! While we're happy to have Dean back thanks to a cure that involved filling him up with blood, we will weirdly miss Demon Dean, especially since he gives us episodes like tonight's, in which the brotherly feels were off the freakin' charts.

RAVE: Forever: So the pilot wasn't our favorite thing, but our minds are slowly changing. Tonight's episode, in which Henry chased down a Jack the Ripper-esque killer, was chilling and filled with great, murder mystery fun.  Loved it.

What did you watch tonight? Feel free to rant and rave with us in the comments!
