You see, the actress debuted her golden mane while she was on set filming her new movie The Disappointments Room in Greensboro, N.C., on Monday. So the probability that her new ‘do is simply a wig (à la Sandra Bullock) is very high.
Especially since just a few days ago the Underworld star was spotted with her signature brunette tresses intact. And if the 41-year-old did in fact undergo a mane makeover, than she also cut off quite a few inches—at least six.
It should be noted that if the lighter hue is real then it wouldn't be the first time that the Beckinsale has gone golden. Back in 2011 she went platinum for a hot second. And by that we mean, exactly one month. So it seems like she wasn't a fan of fair hair.
But hey, these hair changes can happen overnight—as shown by Emma Roberts, Rumor Willis and Alanis Morissette—we just don't believe that's the case here.
