Gwen Stefani is ready to make a solo musical comeback.

For the first time in six years, the 45-year-old singer released a new solo tune. Arriving at midnight last night, it's titled "Baby Don't Lie" and it's a catchy upbeat track, which is sure to please fans who have been patiently waiting for Stefani's next single.

The No Doubt songstress stopped by On Air With Ryan Seacrest early Monday morning to chat about her sure-to-be hit song in addition to dishing on what fans can expect for her upcoming third solo album.

"Honestly, I couldn't even sleep last night," the mother of three said of the release of her new tune, which was produced by OneRepublic‘s Ryan Tedder and Benny Blanco. ''I had to pray myself to sleep last night. I just feel so anxious. Like I said, everything just happened so quickly...It's been an incredible journey though."

While some may analyze the single's lyrics (Stefani croones in the chorus ''Baby don't lie, I don't wanna cry no longer''), Gavin Rossdale's missus insists that not every song is a reflection of her personal life.

"You know, parts of it are and parts of it are pulling from the past," she revealed. "These things are obviously always a subject in my songs. Things are all really good with me and Gavin if everyone's wondering. He's awesome. He's got a great new song called, ‘The Only Way Out Is Through,'" she said before adding with a laugh. "If you want to read into that one, go ahead."

Gwen also said that ''Baby Don't Lie'' was the "first song we finished" on the album, which is her first solo effort since 2006's The Sweet Escape. In addition to working with Tedder and Blanco on the forthcoming record, the blond beauty teamed up with Pharrell Williams, who previously co-wrote Stefani's 2004 smash hit "Hollaback Girl."

"I feel like this whole thing is not about singles, its about the whole project," Gwen said before sharing how she and Pharrell came up with one of the tracks while on set for The Voice.

"It's just this really cool song called "Spark the Fire," she revealed of the upcoming tune. "It literally is the song that explains everything that's going on in my life right now in this surreal way."
