Who says you can't go home? Well, Bon Jovi, but Bethenny Frankel isn't heeding the message!

The Skinnygirl entrepreneur is heading back to Real Housewives of New York City for the show's seventh season, she confirmed to E! News Monday. The 43-year-old mother of one explained on her Bethenny.com blog why, "after many years of hesitation," she decided to "return to my roots" on the reality series.

"Bravo and I have maintained an incredible partnership and relationship over the years, which is something I am very proud of and grateful for," she wrote. "It really is where it all began for me, and you can't forget where you came from."

The health and fitness mogul admitted she "really had doubts after ever going back to television" after her eponymous talk show was canceled in its first season this past February. "I've been through a lot personally, and I wasn't sure I wanted to expose myself to any more public scrutiny,"

"That said, I've been so fortunate to be able to connect with the audience and inspire them to fulfill their wildest dreams," she added. "I learned a lot about myself through that experience. I really need to be able to express myself freely and creatively; I like when no two days are the same, and I don't thrive when being filtered or edited."

Frankel, whose empire is now worth millions, was "financially, personally, and professionally" insecure when she first appeared on Real Housewives back in 2008. "Embarking on that adventure with you and with Bravo changed my life forever," she wrote.

"I have been through a long and arduous road since my [2010] departure," she wrote, "and I'm finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again."

And while "the idea of doing the show feels exciting and refreshing, like it did at the beginning," Frankel admitted, "This feels like the Eagles Hell Freezes Over tour, but never say never."

Frankel's looking forward to her Real Housewives return, seeing "New faces, new circumstances, and in many ways, a new me and a new life."

This should be good! Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer have all signed on for season seven, too, E! News can confirm. Aviva Drescher is not expected to return.

(E! and Bravo are both members of the NBCUniversal family.)
