Paula Patton appears to be all smiles and looking every bit the rock star, some two weeks after she filed for divorce from estranged husband Robin Thicke.

The 38-year-old Mission: Impossible–Ghost Protocol actress and the 37-year-old "Blurred Lines" singer, who share a 4-year-old son, announced they had split in February. Patton filed divorce papers on Oct. 3 in a Los Angeles court and is seeking joint custody of their child.

"Everything is good between Paula and Robin," a source told E! News on Friday. "It really is amicable and they're getting along."

Meanwhile, Patton, who had begun her relationship with Thicke when they were teenagers, is not hopping back into the dating world quite yet. She is currently "single," the source said, adding that the actress's main priority is her and Thicke's son, Julian. She and her boy were recently seen together at a farmer's market in Los Angeles.

This week, Patton was spotted walking solo in New York City sporting some pretty fierce looks. On Thursday, she rocked a black leather jacket, a gray top and ripped black skinny pants, as well as prism heel booties. A day earlier, she wore a different leather jacket over a plaid shirt, as well as ripped blue skinny jeans and black leather stiletto booties. She appeared to be in great spirits.

The actress is currently keeping busy shooting a fashion campaign for Ellen Tracy, which launches in November. She was named a celebrity ambassador for the luxury brand last month. She is also concentrating on her acting career and has finished filming the adventure movie Warcraft, which is based on the popular video game franchise and is set for release in 2016. The source told E! News the actress is currently "reading a lot of scripts."

"Paula is doing great," the source said. "She's really excited about the future."

Patton and Thicke, who were high school sweethearts, married in 2005. After their separation announcement, Thicke dedicated various love songs to her in concert and released a tribute album to her, Paula, which includes the single "Get Her Back." The LP's sales figures were disappointing.

In July, while promoting the album, Thicke revealed in an interview with radio station Hot 97 that he hadn't seen Patton in four months, although their immediate "families are still very much in love," and he talked about their breakup.

"I changed, and I got a little too selfish, a little too greedy and little too full of myself," he said, adding, "I'm a man. I messed up and I had to lie for a while, and then I stopped lying...That was actually good for me because I was tired of lying."
