"That. Was. Awesome!"
Those were the words that came out of Liam Hemsworth's mouth after he went skydiving for the first time! The 24-year-old Hunger Games hunk recently jumped out of a plane as part of his interview and photo shoot for the November issue of Nylon magazine. In the mag, writer Drew Tewksbury chronicled their pre-skydiving preparations and post-jump reactions.
"The bit coming down, when you're actually hanging, was almost more scary than the free fall," Hemsworth recalled once safely on the ground. "You're able to think then. When you're free falling, you can't gauge anything, you can't think about anything. You're just like, ‘Holy s--t.'"
Nylon also documented Hemworth's skydiving trip in photos. In one pre-jump pic, the sexy star is suited up on a blue suit with harnesses all around him. Hemsworth stands outside the plane while flashing a smile and giving two thumbs up.
There's also a mid-air shot where Hemsworth sits inside the plane with other jumpers anxiously awaiting his skydiving moment.
Meanwhile, Hensworth opened up to the mag about growing up with a penchant for living on the edge. "I think everyone agrees that I was the naughtiest as a kid," he revealed. "My uncles used to call me ‘Devil Child' or ‘Triple' for triple six. They used to tell my brother Chris that they were going to get the demons out of him because he was also a little crazy. But to me, they'd just be like, ‘You're too far gone. There's no exorcising you anymore.'"
