When we first got a glimpse at People magazine's recent cover of Taylor Swift, it looked kinda familiar.

And it's not just because the pop star was recreating Mia Farrow's Great Gatsby look from the first-ever cover of the magazine in 1974.

It turns out that Portia De Rossi actually pulled a Mia four years ago for gay magazine The Advocate.

Both De Rossi and Swift recreated Mia's exact look and pose. All three women are wearing white dresses, their hairstyles are slick waves falling to their necklines and each bite on a string of pearls from around their necks.

The Advocate's coverline reads, "The Great De Rossi." Swift's People says, "In Her Own Words: Taylor Swift On Being Single & Loving It."

In the Advocate, De Rossi opened up about being married to Ellen DeGeneres. "Maybe by sharing my life, I can make people more aware of how important gay marriage is," said De Rossi, who recently joined the cast of Scandal.

In People, Swift admitted she's been weary of dating.

"I'm not going to compromise the happiness and independence that I've found for just anybody. The idea of a date gives me a partial panic attack!" the seven-time Grammy Award winner said. "It includes 40 paparazzi cameras shooting through windows at us, and that's not relaxing or alluring for me. That makes me want to crawl under the couch and hide! But I'm fine! I have two cats. That's all I need."

And she's not about to settle for just any guy—he's gotta be pretty special.

"It would take an astonishing human for me to even consider getting back into a relationship. It would take something really, really, really, really different—a kind of a one-in-a-million person for me to face all that," Swift said. "I don't have any kind of idea who I'd want to be with, because I don't have any pieces missing from my life right now. I'm not looking for anything to complete. I think that's a nice place to be."
