E! News recently sat down with the hunky star and the 34-year-old actor revealed his upcoming sequel will be a little bit different than his original 2012 stripper flick.
"It's weird, it's different," Tatum told us while promoting his movie The Book of Life. "The first one, it's like no one knew we were even making the movie. It was sort of a little blip. This one is different. It feels lighter. It feels so much fun. We show up and we can't believe we're getting to do some of the stuff that we're getting to do."
Tatum and his Magic Mike co-stars have been filming the sequel in Savannah. Tatum even recently got to meet Joe Manganiello's girlfriend Sofía Vergara when she visited the set.
Tatum gushed of Manganiello and Vergara's sizzling romance, "It's like the perfect storm of beauty." So true!
In addition to Magic Mike XXL and Jofia's relationship, Tatum also opened up about love and fatherhood. Tatum, who has been married to wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum since 2009, says he'd give up everything for love, he'd even die. "If you wouldn't, I don't know, maybe you need to figure out why you're not ready to die for it," he revealed.
As for the most extreme things he's done for love, Tatum laughed, "I mean, proposing and having a baby is pretty extreme. Those are all pretty extreme things."
And yes, Tatum regularly helps out his wife when it comes to baby duties surrounding their daughter Everly.
"I am so dope at changing diapers," he cracked. "That's the only thing guys are really good at."
