Ryan Doesn't Give Details

Not only has Details declared Ryan Seacrest one of their 22 Mavericks, they also put him on the cover of their April issue. To celebrate this auspicious honor, the men's mag and Ryan hosted a big party at a private Beverly Hills mansion last night. But Ryan wants you to know that he's not as perfectly bronzed in person as he looks on the cover.

"It's a little embarrassing, because I'm much shinier and not as tan in real life," he told me. (He's also shorter in person than he looks on TV, but if you watch The Soup, you're already well aware of that.)

Speaking of tanning, I asked Ryan if the relationship he discusses in the Details article is with Holly Huddleston, one half of the Olly Girls from the E! show Sunset Tan. "Now, would it be smart for someone to actually be involved with someone in their office?" he replied rhetorically. "That sounds dramatic...that sounds high risk."

Well, she doesn't actually work in the E! offices, right? Anyway, there are things he'd rather talk about, so I asked about those.

"It's a real honor to be on the cover, and a lot of the men and women on the [Mavericks] list are friends, so it's kind of like a fraternity...or sorority," he waxed. But instead of the typical kegs, this party was serving top shelf liquor: Grey Goose vodka was flowing freely at the bar. Other power partiers included Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, David Spade, Kristin Cavallari and Johnathon Schaech, who was hand in hand with a brunette babe.
