August: Osage County Actress Misty Upham Is Missing

Actress was last seen leaving her sister's apartment five days ago

Misty Upham, a Blackfeet actress best known for her roles in August: Osage County and Frozen River, has gone missing, according to her father Charles Upham. 

Indian Country Today Media Network has confirmed with Washington police that a report has been filed and Misty has been listed as missing in their records. The 32-year-old was last seen leaving her sister's apartment in Muckleshoot on Oct. 5. E! News has reached out to Upham's camp and the police department for comment.

Her father released the following statement on the incident: "Award Winning Native Actress, Misty Upham-best known for her roles in: August Osage County, Jimmy P and Frozen River, is a Missing Person. She disappeared on Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was last seen walking from her sister's apartment in Muckleshoot, Washington. Misty is considered an endangered missing person due to a medical condition. She has not been in contact with her family or friends since her disappearance. If anybody has any information or has been in contact with Misty since October 5, 2014. You are asked to contact the Auburn police department (253) 288-2121, case no. 14-13189."

Upham did not specify on the medical condition mentioned.

Misty Upham played the role Johnna Monevata, the caregiver to Meryl Streep's character in the film August: Osage County, which earned her a SAG Award nomination alongside the cast for her work in the movie.
