RSVPs:  Nicollette Sheridan, Rosario Dawson, Michael Vartan
When:  Jan. 31
Where:  A+D Studios

It's no secret that celebs love their BlackBerrys. When they threw a party for the BlackBerry Curve last May, a jail-bound Paris Hilton did a drive-by to pick up her gratis gadget—right before checking herself into the slammer! So, with Verizon feting the launch of the BlackBerry Pearl in pink (does that make it a PinkBerry?), you can bet the freebie fans will be out in force.

Parental Props:  Outside on the pink carpet, Rosario Dawson is one of the first guests to arrive and is bombarded with questions about all things Alba...Jessica Alba, that is, who's a friend of hers. Seems whenever a star announces a pregnancy, people go crazy to get any info they can on it, and Rosario is ready for the onslaught of questions. Jess is "ecstatic" about her pregnancy, she says. "She's lucky, because she's in a really great place, success-wise, where she can concentrate on her child...and I know she'll take advantage of that."

Definitely not in the mood for small talk is Nicollette Sheridan, who gives the brush-off to the press peeps. "My friend's rushing me inside!" she says as she breezes by. Too bad she's walking alone. Nice try, Nic.

Pretty in Pink:  Inside, the venue is done up like some sort of Barbie Dream House. Everything is pink, from the drinks to the carpet to the girlie decor. There are chalkboards hung on the walls for guests to doodle on, which lends an elementary-school vibe. But don't expect to see Michael Vartan drawing hearts around any girl's initials. He tells me he's single and has no Valentine's Day plans. Bet there are lots of girls here who'd love to hang with the hottie. Speaking of eye candy, the catering staff at this soiree is entirely male—and entirely cute. It's a nice change from the usual barely dressed babes passing apps.

Life Imitates Art:  Looking a little out of place at the girlie gala is Entourage's Jeremy Piven. The diminutive dude is obviously addicted to his BlackBerry, as he takes a call on it in the middle of a conversation. Paging Ari Gold!

While he's fine with talking on his phone, Jeremy isn't into chitchatting with partygoers. "Can I go back to living my life now?" he asks, cutting off a poor girl trying to interview him. Someone needs to mind their manners! At least Rex Lee, who plays his assistant on the show, is perfectly pleasant.

Happy Endings:  After Grammy-nominated singer Alice Smith performs, caterers come around with miniature ice-cream cones (strawberry, of course, in keeping with the pink theme), cookies and cupcakes. The desserts are pretty sweet, but the swag at this soiree is the icing on the cake. All of the partyers take home gift bags stocked with their very own blush-colored BlackBerry Pearl.

Wonder who Piven will give his phone to? Something tells me the dude wouldn't be caught dead using the gadget himself. But it's perfect for a Party Girl!
