The sparks are flying between Will Smith and Margot Robbie—onscreen, that is!

The first trailer for Focus debuted Thursday, depicting Smith, 46, and Robbie, 24, as a couple of star-crossed con artists.

In the dramatic romantic comedy (think Hitch, but a lot grittier), Smith portrays Nicky Spurgeon, a seasoned con-artist who boasts he can "convince anyone of anything." Robbie, who plays up-and-coming con artist Jess Barrett, is a little too eager to learn.

"I want in," she says, adding provocatively, "Maybe you could teach me in your room!"

"That is so bad," he replies, laughing about her seduction attempt, "Does it feel sexy on your face?"

"A little," she admits.

He then concedes, taking the blond beauty under his wing. Calling his young contemporary the "intern," Smith's character teaches her the tricks of the trade, later admitting, "You might be one of the best I've ever seen."

Initially, the twosome work in tandem, but as the stakes get higher, tensions rise. "There's no room for heart in this game," says Smith's character. "That'll get you killed."

Focus isn't all serious, though! There are some LOL moments even in the trailer, like when a passenger asks bluntly, "You hitting' that?" Robbie's character, sitting in the backseat, exclaims in disbelief, "I'm right here!"

It looks entertaining to say the least! Focus hits theaters Feb. 27, 2015.
