Toni Collette proudly showed her support for Breast Cancer Awareness month during a recent photo call for her upcoming film in London on Thursday, where she also debuted her dramatic new 'do.

The 41-year-old actress, who plays a cancer patient in the forthcoming flick Miss You Already, cuddled up to co-star Drew Barrymore and showed off her new buzz cut, appearing as confident as ever with her super-short tresses

Collette, who shaved her head for the role of Milly, beamed from ear-to-ear as she shared a warm embrace with the 50 First Dates star, who plays her best friend in the film. The Catherine Hardwicke-directed drama centers on two longtime pals whose friendship is put to the test after one begins a family (Barrymore) while the other falls ill (Collette).

The actress teamed her edgy new 'do with an equally edgy ensemble, rocking a black leather jacket, matching jeans and multiple gold chain necklaces in addition to her pink Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon.

The Oscar-nominated Aussie, who typically sports long blond locks, reportedly went completely bald for the role, but her hair now seems to be growing back.

Miss You Already will explore "the ups and downs of friendship," as Catherine Hardwicke previously said. "With our fearless actors, we're taking this very personal story on a wild ride."

The film, which also stars Dominic Cooper and Jacqueline Bisset, hits theaters in 2015.
