The actress was photographed in New York City Wednesday for the first time since she gave birth to daughter Rose Dorothy in early September. Wearing an Avengers hat, plus a Nike Dri-FIT windbreaker, Champion yoga pants and New Balance kicks, the 29-year-old movie star's post-baby body looked trim.
Johansson was all smiles while kissing her fiancé, Romain Dauriac. Dressed casually in jeans and a Mike Tyson tee, the ad exec also wore a gold ring, leading some to wonder if he's secretly married the actress. The new parents began dating in late 2012 after they were introduced through a mutual friend, tattoo artist Fuzi Uvtpk. In September 2013, Johansson, 29, first flashed her engagement ring from Dauriac, 32.
In the weeks following her little girl's arrival, Johansson has eschewed the spotlight. Robert Downey Jr., who is expecting a baby girl in early November, predicted his Avengers: Age of Ultron co-star will be a model mother. "Boy, oh boy! I can't believe that she was so preggers during Avengers, to," he told E! News in early September. "Now she finally had the baby so she'll remember those as the good ol' days."
Because Johansson was pregnant while shooting the sequel, she required three stunt doubles for action sequences. "She's not going to spend the whole movie carrying groceries," director Joss Whedon told Entertainment Weekly of hiding her bump. "We didn't trim any scenes. We're like, 'We'll make it work.'"
Johansson will undoubtedly be back in shape when the global promo tour kicks off in 2015. Before then, however, she'll begin work on another project: a TV show! The actress is set to star in an eight-episode period series based on Edith Wharton's 1913 novel The Custom of the Country, according to Deadline.
