Michael Becker/FXIt's finally Flash night, and we hope you all loved the CW's new superhero show just as much as we did! In case you hated it due to your cold, fun-hating heart, there was plenty of other stuff on to entertain you. Behold, our rants and raves!
RANT/RAVE: Sons of Anarchy: Really, Gemma? Pleading with the guy you were going to kill to not kill you? We kind of hope he doesn't just so we aren't deprived of that inevitable (and inevitably heartbreaking) confrontation with Jax.
RAVE/RANT: Sons of Anarchy: Who else was super worried when they showed Abel with that hammer? We're very worried about those kids!
RAVE: The Flash: How refreshing is it to see a superhero (cutest superhero ever, right?) put on his super suit in the first episode? This ain't no Smallville, apparently.
RAVE: The Flash: What an ending! Barry's going to die in ten years? And Wells can walk?! We don't know what's going on but we love it.
RAVE: Supernatural: Demon Dean is fun! And scary! And much less affected by threats to kill his brother than he used to be!
RAVE: Agents of SHIELD: Undercover-at-Hydra Simmons is our new favorite Simmons, especially when accompanied by a happy musical montage.
RANT: Agents of SHIELD: How many more ABC shows will kill (or "kill," knowing SHIELD) Dylan Minnette? He is a good actor and he does not deserve this abuse!
RAVE: New Girl: Leave it to an episode of New Girl to pull an After School Special with a moral centered around the fact that "we're all covered in micropenises!"
RAVE: Selfie: Henry's first experience with Facebook had him crying at a cute baby and rejoicing at a facebook quiz telling him he was Sansa Stark after selecting "I'm a cool mom" as his favorite Mean Girls quote. We love Henry. We are Henry.
RAVE: NCIS: Loved tonight's episode, filled with all the Ducky backstory we've ever wanted. That last scene with Margaret was a beautiful end (or beginning?) to a beautiful story.
RANT: Chicago Fire: Stop making us super sad, Chicago Fire! There were so many emotions tonight, from Severide's continued sadness to Mills' new inability to do any of the things required of a firefighter due to Vertigo, to Casey and Dawson postponing their relationship so Dawson can join truck 81.
RANT: The Mindy Project: We're officially ranting about the fact that none of our friends have ever been so considerate as to buy an extra wheel of brie just for us.
RAVE: The Mindy Project: Any episode centering around sex and Chris Messina is our favorite episode ever.
