Breaking up may be hard to do. But for Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart, staying friendly doesn't seem to be a challenge at all.

On Tuesday night, the former couple arrived at La Conversation in West Hollywood, Calif., separately to enjoy a dinner together.

Wearing a black blouse with matching pants and heels, Lopez tried to keep a low profile as she left the restaurant in her own car.

Although the twosome has been spotted hanging out together after announcing their split, multiple sources insist that this pair is not back together. In fact, an insider said, "they remain great friends."

The mother-of-two has been open about her highly publicized relationship status. While appearing on The Meredith Vieira Show, the "Booty" singer shared she isn't exactly ready to jump in the dating pool again.

"I'm just being on my own. I feel like I need that right now," she shared with Meredith Vieira. "I've been in relationships kind of back to back my whole life and I just needed time."

She continued, "I need time to just chill and just know me and enjoy my kids and actually make time for other friends instead of just the relationship thing."

After nearly three and a half years of dating, the pop star and Smart announced their split in June.

"They were hoping to be more low key about things," a source told E! News when the news first broke. "He was slowly going to move out and that would be it."

Since the split, Lopez has focused much of her free time on her career. In addition to traveling across the country in search of the next American Idol, the 45-year-old has promoted her new music including the hit song "Booty."

Featured on the album, A.K.A., the single resulted in a few celebs complimenting the singer's backside.

"It's a work of art," Sean "Diddy" Combs recently said in an interview with Access Hollywood Live. "It's something that will go down in history."

As you can imagine, Lopez was quite flattered.
