Taryn Manning's accused stalker Jeanine Heller has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal contempt in the second degree after being arrested last month for violating a protection order.

Heller was arrested on Sept. 2 after she called and emailed the Orange Is the New Black star, a violation of an order of protection stemming from her initial stalking and harassment case involving Manning. Today, Heller pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor offense, the Manhattan DA's office confirms to E! News.

Heller will undergo six months of treatment, which will include mental health counseling. She must also stay out of trouble. Heller's next court hearing will be in January and she must give an update on her progress. The protection order against Heller is still in effect.

Additionally, Heller's attorney Jeremy Saland tells E! in a statement, "This plea reflects what we have maintained since the inception of this case. That is, Ms. Heller was not on a campaign to harass and stalk Taryn Manning. Simply, Ms. Heller took responsibility for a phone call she placed to Ms. Manning in August. Although Ms. Heller made no threats of any kind during that call, any contact, even if initiated by a party with whom there was a prior relationship, is impermissible where an order of protection is in place."

"Ms. Heller welcomed the dismissal of the stalking charges and looks forward to moving past the allegations and obtaining a non criminal resolution when the case is finally closed," Saland added.

Back in July, Manning accused Heller, a former friend, of cyber stalking her. She claimed in court documents that Heller tried to make her paranoid by attempting to make her believe that another friend was selling secrets about her to the press.
