George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding was possibly one of the events of the year, but it still wasn't too tough for Bill Murray to choose his favorite part of the ceremony.

Sure, it could have been the delicious food, the endless cocktails, the gorgeous array of flowers, the boats, the Italian scenery—you name it—but the actor didn't mention any of those things. Nope, Murray is quite the romantic.

"The best part of being at George and Amal's wedding was those two people finding each other," he told E! News at the premiere of his movie St. Vincent. "It's just amazing that those two people—the way they are—found the other person. It's almost surreal. I am so happy for them!"

The famous pair got married on Sept. 27 in Venice, Italy, in front of a few of their nearest and dearest. The bride wore a custom Oscar de la Renta French lace wedding gown, which featured hand-embroidered pearl and diamanté accents, an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full circular train. George looked sharp, too, wearing a black tuxedo in ultra-fine wool/cashmere from Giorgio Armani's Made to Measure collection.

The couple exchanged vows inside the historic Aman Canal Grande Venice. "We met in Italy," the Gravity star, 53, had explained. "We have a home there. We knew that was where we wanted to get married." The movie star, who owns a home in Lake Como, also calls Venice "the most romantic city in the world."

George and Amal celebrated with three days of parties followed by a civil ceremony that following Monday.

Guests included Luciana Barroso, Emily Blunt, Bono, Cindy Crawford, Matt Damon, Rande Gerber, John Krasinski and Anna Wintour.
