What a bittersweet episode of Dancing with the Stars!

While we're so, so sad to say goodbye to fashion designer Betsey Johnson, the real news tonight was that it finally happened: Alfonso Ribeiro brought out The Carlton, and it was possibly even more glorious than we could have imagined.

Tonight's DWTS theme was "memorable moments." Some stars danced to honor relatives or friends, while others marked a rough or important time in their lives or careers. Tonight was also the debut of America the Judge. Viewers had around two minutes during each dance to go online and submit a score, allowing America to stand in as the fourth judge.

Jonathan Bennett paid homage to Mean Girls in honor of his parents by dancing to "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Milkshake." It was a lot of fun, but didn't go over so well with the judges or with America. He walked away with only 24 out of 40 points, the lowest of the night.

Alfonso, on the other hand, absolutely killed his jazz number to Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual." For those of you who weren't alive in the 90's, The Carlton was Alfonso Ribeiro's signature dance as Carlton Banks, the cousin of Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

The judges absolutely loved the performance and, with some help from America, gave Alfonso and partner Whitney Carson a perfect score. Carrie Ann Inaba simply said, "Finally."

Back to the Future star Lea Thompson also almost ended up with a perfect score, but America only gave her a 9 in response to her gorgeous performance in honor of her father.

Next week, the couples are going to be switched up a bit as viewers will help decide who will dance with who!
