Mike Sorrentino just may have a wedding situation on his hands.

The former Jersey Shore star is currently in the center of engagement rumors after his lawyer seemed to hint that Sorrentino got down on one knee and popped the question to girlfriend Lauren Pesce. In Richard Sapinski's letter to a judge where he requests postponing his client's upcoming court date in the ongoing tax fraud case, he uses the F-word. No, not that F-word, silly.

The letter, obtained by E! News, states: "The adjournment is requested because, prior to the Indictment, Mr. Sorrentino and his fiancé had contracted to appear as participants in a reality TV program called 'Marriage Boot Camp' which is being produced by Think Media Factory in Los Angeles, California."

Um, sorry, Mr. Sorrentino and his what?!

The pair signed a contract to film the show from Oct. 5 to 19 in Los Angeles, which conflicted with his Oct. 6 arraignment, but E! News has confirmed that the judge granted the request, delaying the arraignment date until Oct. 23. E! News has reached out to Sorrentino's rep for comment.

While both Mike and his lady have kept any possible engagement news underwraps, the blond beauty did tweet thanks to someone who wrote her with, "Youre going on TV I hear with ANOTHER show? Congrats!"

And it turns out the duo may be staying hush-hush for a reason. A source tells E! News that WE tv owns the rights for their engagement and wedding for the second season of The Sorrentinos. The insider adds that the couple got permission to do Marriage Bootcamp, but they weren't allowed to get engaged or married without WE tv's involvement.

Lauren is Mike's former college sweetheart whom he rekindled things with after sobering up, and while fans of his MTV reality show may find it shocking to hear that Sitch is settling down, he recently spoke out about tying the knot.

"There could be an engagement in the near future," he told Life & Style in July. "I'm planning it in my head. I would like to make it very special and a day she would never forget. I would like three children, two boys and a girl. And two dogs!"

Sounds like a solid plan.
