Chris Messina—aka Diamond Dan—may be the resident dancer on The Mindy Project, but it was his co-star Mindy Kaling who stole the show with her moves when she appeared on Sesame Street Tuesday. Joined by her new pal, Kaling asked, "Are you ready to tell everyone about today's new word, Elmo?"
The beloved character was "really excited" to tell everyone about the word "enthusiastic."
"Do you know what I get really excited about?" Kaling asked. "Dancing!"
The fast friends boogied down. "I am feeling really enthusiastic now, Elmo!" Kaling said. After a while, the former Office star said, "You know what makes me really excited, Elmo? Dancing with chickens!"
The chickens joined the duo's impromptu dance party, but not for long. "Stop the music!" one shouted. Yet another fowl friend clucked, "We are not enthusiastic about this. We don't get really excited about dancing. We get really excited about jumping."
No matter! Kaling and Elmo were "enthusiastic" jumpers, too!
