Words cannot even begin to describe how many feelings we have about Lorde's new song, "Yellow Flicker Beat," released today.

The "Royals" singer wrote the song as her addition to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 soundtrack. It's a perfect contribution for the movie's music, with dark, mysterious lyrics and a tune to match.

This amazing new single opens with Lorde's mesmerizing voice as she sings, "I'm a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm and the scars that mark my body, they're silver and gold." It sounds like Katniss herself is the voice behind the words!

The song is all about how there is a red, orange, yellow flicker beat sparking in her heart—a perfect choice of words for a song all about a girl on fire! Last week, Lorde teased the song on her Instagram, posting pictures of different lyrics.

In a Tumblr post, Lorde says, "Now, about this song-yellow flicker beat. it's my first offering from what I hope will be a soundtrack you love. It's my attempt at getting inside her head, Katniss'. I hope you like it."

Say no more Lorde, we're already in love with the song!

The singer explains to fans how she is currently traveling between Utah and Vegas as she continues on her tour. She says, "We are almost at the end, the point where this soundtrack gets taken away from me and becomes something real."

Other stars who have been featured on past Hunger Games soundtracks include Coldplay, Sia and Christina Aguilera. Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars' "Safe and Sound" from the first film in the trilogy was nominated for a Golden Globe.

There's no debate in the fact that we can't wait to hear the rest of Lorde's new music! The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 soundtrack is out Nov. 18 and the film opens in theaters on Nov. 21.
