TwitterLady Gaga has a new Little Monster!
Kelly Clarkson tweeted a picture of her 3-month-old daughter wearing a onesie, a bib and sunglasses. "Watch out Lady Gaga!!" the 32-year-old first-time mom wrote Sunday. "River Rose is on the scene!!" The "Cheek to Cheek" singer replied, "Look at those shoulders, like Grace Jones! Can I borrow that bib?"
About 11 hours after she shared the photo, Clarkson tweeted that she was "having a hard time falling asleep." The American Idol winner added, "Can't stop watching my baby girl sleep. I'm addicted to her."
Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, welcomed their baby girl June 12. In early September, the couple took their mini music fan to see Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood perform live just outside Chicago. "Amazing show!" tweeted Clarkson, who also sang with Brooks, 52. "It was River's 1st concert!"
The "Since U Been" gone singer has been spending quality time with her family in Nashville, but she's also working on a follow-up to 2011's Stronger. Responding to a fan's tweet on Sept. 20, Clarkson wrote, "I'm so proud of my next album! Might have a special guest…Doesn't come until early next year."
While the singer hasn't revealed any other details, she's privately been covering other popular songs at home. "Ran out of songs 2 sing while trying 2 put my little girl 2 sleep," Clarkson informed her Twitter followers on Sept. 21. The singer added, "She finally nods off after 'Silly Ho' by TLC #shecantunderstandhtelyrics."
