Chris O'Donnell could not be busier.

Not only does he star on one of TV's top-rated shows, NCIS: Los Angeles, but he's also a father of five kids with wife Caroline Fentress. And two of those kids are now...teenagers.

"I go back and forth, I sway like a pendulum," the actor told Catt Sadler during a sit-down with E! News Thursday when asked what sort of dad he is. "My wife is very consistent...It's hard. You're constantly faced with new challenges every day of how to raise your children."

And even though changing diapers seemed like tough work at the time...

"When your'e just starting out, you've got a couple of little babies and you're changing diapers, it's chaos," O'Donnell recalled. "And then you start getting into these teenage problems, it's ‘Oh my god, let's go back to diapers.'"

Admittedly, he can't wait to get back to his family after a long day on set, even though he and NCIS: LA costar LL Cool J get along pretty well.

"It's a good marriage," O'Donnell described his brand of bromance with the rapper-actor, who is a father of four.

Their show's sixth season opens with the partners still trapped in a submarine that's been packed with explosives and is hurtling toward San Diego. Whatever will happen?!

Looking back at O'Donnell's lengthy resume, Catt of course wondered whether he and George Clooney, the onetime Batman to his Robin, kept in touch.

"We don't," he said. "I'm still waiting for my wedding invitation. What's going on here, George, honestly?"

But O'Donnell has nothing but the nicest things to say about his Batman and Robin co-star—and he has a prediction with regard to Clooney's upcoming nuptials.
