Oh, don't mind us over here, still mourning the major death in the 24: Live Another Day finale. [Insert mandatory spoiler warning here!] Fans, and Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), were left devastated when Audrey (Kim Raver), the love of his life, died. Were we naive in thinking the couple might finally get their happy ending when Fox resurrected the series? Probably, but one character actually predicted that Audrey would ultimately die: Mark Boudreau (Tate Donovan), her husband and the (ultimately corrupt) White House Chief of Staff.
In an exclusive deleted scene from the DVD box set, which comes out on Sept. 30, Jack and Mark have a truly intense showdown, which ends with one of them arrested. Press play on the video above to watch the drama (and death prediction) go down!
While Live Another Day ended on a rather bleak note, with Audrey's death and Jack turning himself over to the Russians, we can't help but to want more 24. So greedy, we know.
But will 24 actually live another day...again? At the Summer TCA Press Tour, the Chairman and CEO of Fox Networks Group Peter Rice said the network hasn't "had a specific conversation about it coming back yet," but added, "I'm sure we will in the future. It's a wonderful franchise.
"Kiefer, Evan [Katz], Howard [Gordon] and Manny [Coto] did a great job this year," he continued. "When you look at the show itself, I think it has many more stories to tell, but I think we need to sit down and talk to the creators about it."
