Thanks, as always, to Vin Diesel for keeping us up to speed on the next Fast & Furious film.

The action star made fans both extremely excited and, presumably, rather heartsick today when he shared never-before-seen stills from Fast & Furious 7, one of which showed both Diesel and late co-star Paul Walker sharing an intense scene.

The other still showed Diesel's Dom Toretto taping up his hands, seemingly getting ready for some sort of rumble, be it in a ring or behind the wheel.

"Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7..." the actor wrote on Facebook along with the pics.

"Speechless... yeah, it was that INCREDIBLE!" Diesel continued. "I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet... we all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we have come."

Walker was killed in a car crash on Nov. 30, while they were still in the middle of filming the latest installment in the blockbuster F&F franchise. His character, cop turned FBI agent turned crime-fighting outlaw Brian O'Conner, is expected to survive the film, but the details of O'Conner's send-off have been kept tightly under wraps.

Walker brothers Caleb and Cody were brought in to help finish filming as stand-ins.

Since Walker's death, Diesel has used his Facebook page to frequently pay tribute to his friend, most recently on Sept. 12, which would have been Paul's 41st birthday.

"One year ago today...Honoring our brother," he captured a video of last year's birthday celebration for Walker on the set, with everyone singing and presenting the hunky thesp with a cake.

Fast & Furious 7 is due in theaters April 3, 2015.
