The helicopter landed in their backyard, to Stommel's surprise, and then the two circled around their property when he proposed, Hubbard's rep tells E! News. It took them to a private dinner to celebrate.

Stommel, 26, posted a picture of herself posing with Hubbard in front of the helicopter. Speakign to People, Hubbard said, "I'm the luckiest man and never thought I would find such a perfect girl for me. This will truly be a life of happiness and love forever."

This will be the first marriage for both parties.

Hubbard's bandmate, Brian Kelley, got married in December. His wife, Brittney Marie Cole, tweeted, "Literally have a tear in my eye over @THubbmusic & @hayleystom engagement. Us 4 for life. FAM."

Earlier this month, Hubbard opened up about his relationship with Stommel in an interview with ABC News Radio. "She is a keeper, man," the musician, 27, gushed. "I got lucky with that one somehow."

Wedding planning isn't the only thing that will be keeping Hubbard busy this fall. Florida Georgia Line's sophomore album, Anything Goes, will be released Oct. 14. It features the chart-topping single "Dirt."
